Art Exhibit and Display
The Main Library in Kalispell provides space for artists of diverse media and styles to display their work to the community. Artists are invited to apply for an exhibit date by submitting a formal application.

Fax & Photocopy
All Flathead County Libraries offer photocopy services.
The Main Library in Kalispell has a self-service fax machine, able to only send faxes, payable with a credit card.
Columbia Falls Branch Library also has a fax machine available for public use.
Homebound Service
The Homebound Service aims to deliver materials to Flathead County Library customers who are unable to visit the Library due to illness, accident or disability.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is available to receive materials that the Flathead County Library system will not purchase. Participating libraries will be solicited to ship their materials here for lending.

Patrons (customers) must have a valid library card to request/receive an Interlibrary Loan.

Requests for time extensions must be made at least 2 days in advance of the due date.

Overdue fines for ILLs are $1 a day; there is a $5 charge for non-pickup of ILLs; there is a $1 charge for lost barcode cards and $1 for lost date due cards.

Library Card
To receive a library card, bring a current photo ID and address verification (piece of mail, bill, etc.). Applicants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian that can present photo ID. Call 758-5819 with questions.

Placing Holds
Flathead County Libraries participate in a program called Partner Libraries that allows patrons to check out materials from Missoula, Polson, Anaconda and other libraries. This greatly increases the selection available to all Flathead County residents. These holds are placed through the library catalog and are shipped via bus. The person requesting the item will be notified via email or telephone. Inquire at your local library for more information.
Public Computers are available to library cardholders as well as non-cardholders for an hour each day. Computers have Internet access, word processing and spreadsheet programs compatible with Microsoft Office, resume’ templates, Instant messaging and more. Kalispell and Columbia Falls have a scanner that can digitize photos, photo negatives and software that will allow a paper copy to be converted into Word documents that can then be edited.

Flathead County Libraries offer free proctoring services. Please contact the Main Library Information Desk 758-5815 for more information.
Wireless Internet access is available at all locations. This is a free service available to those with wireless-enabled laptops. The username is "patron" and there is no password.
