The Youth Services team at ImagineIF Libraries plans and implements early literacy programs for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in Kalispell, Bigfork, and Columbia Falls. Our goal in every Storytime is to connect with young children and their caregivers through books, songs, and interactive activities that foster early literacy and social emotional skills. Learn about the new Bigfork Library's participation with Design for Freedom, a global movement to eliminate forced labor in the building materials supply chain. Speakers to include lead interior designer on the library, Jessica Murray with Cushing Terrell; Ethical Materials Director at Grace Farms, Nora Rizzo; and Manager of Sustainable Building Solutions for Assa Abloy, Erin Spadavecchia. Join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony hosted by the Bigfork Area Chamber of Commerce at the new Bigfork Library located at 186 Bridge Street in Bigfork at 9:30am on August 6th. Library staff and members of the Library Foundation will speak at the event to commemorate the years of work and collaboration it has taken to make this project a success. The new Bigfork Library will open its doors officially at 10am with a reception to follow.

Our job is to provide free and open access to books and information. With hands-on activities and experiences for all ages, we work to transform vision, dreams and desires into reality.
