Craft for Conservation: Bird Collisions in the Anthropocene

February 24 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join Flathead Audubon Society at the Columbia Falls Library for a meaningful crafting workshop to raise awareness about bird conservation. One of the major threats to bird populations is collisions with windows and buildings. To spotlight this issue, the international art and conservation project Bird Collisions in the Anthropocene is creating 10,863 handsewn birds – one for each bird found in 2023 by the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors after striking glass. Sewing experience is welcome but not required. For adults ages 16+
