Cooking Bingo
Bingo continues this winter with a cooking theme! Pick up a Cooking Bingo board at any library location this winter and challenge yourself try different recipes, techniques, and foods. Get a bingo and win a collectible sticker.

Genealogy Classes
Join instructors from Kalispell’s FamilySearch Center for genealogy classes geared toward individuals and families aged 13 and older. Learn personal researching skills, connect with family history groups, and get expert help navigating genealogical sites. This program will repeat every 1st and 3rd Tuesday in Kalispell. Classes will return to the Bigfork library in the spring.

AARP Smart Driver Course
Get up to speed with the latest driving strategies, auto safety features, and new state and local traffic laws in this course designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. All drivers welcome. Upon completion of the course, you may be eligible to receive auto insurance discounts. Registration is required.

Community Library Tour
You’re invited to a fun and informative tour of your public library! Get a behind-the-scenes look into how your tax dollars work to bring great library services to the Flathead Valley! The second Wednesday of each month at 11 am at your Kalispell Public Library. Tours are approximately 45 minutes long.

Seed Cleaning & Packing Party
Join our friends from Land to Hand for another round of seed cleaning and seed packing parties at the library! Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us as we either separate and clean seeds, or label and spoon seeds into envelopes. Stop by these family friendly events and help us restock the Columbia Falls Library’s seed library, and save seeds for next year’s Free the Seeds event.

Glacier National Park Today: Science and Stewardship
This winter, Flathead County Library and Glacier Institute are partnering to bring you a special lecture series focused on Glacier National Park. Join us for the first talk in the series, where experts from The Glacier Institute will share updates on current research projects in the park. Learn about efforts to restore native plant communities, monitor mammal populations, and other exciting initiatives shaping Glacier’s future.
