Bingo continues this winter with a cooking theme! Pick up a Cooking Bingo board at any library location this winter and challenge yourself try different recipes, techniques, and foods. Get a bingo and win a collectible sticker.

Genealogy Classes
Join instructors from Kalispell’s FamilySearch Center for genealogy classes geared toward individuals and families aged 13 and older. Learn personal researching skills, connect with family history groups, and get expert help navigating genealogical sites. This program will repeat every 1st and 3rd Tuesday in Kalispell. Classes will return to the Bigfork library in the spring.

Glacier National Park Today: Mushrooms
This season, Flathead County Library and Glacier Institute are partnering to bring you a special lecture series focused on Glacier National Park. Join us for the second talk in the series—Mushrooms. Explore the mushrooms of Glacier National Park and deepen your knowledge of Montana’s mycelium networks in and out of the park, with a quick look at local species, their biology, and how to identify them.

One Book Montana Reception
Everyone participating in the One Book Montana Statewide Read is invited to join us for a special gathering with author Chris La Tray. Engage in thoughtful conversation about the book, Becoming Little Shell: A Landless Indian’s Journey Home, deepen your understanding of Montana’s Indigenous cultures, and enjoy samples of traditional Native foods.

Craft for Conservation: Bird Collisions in the Anthropocene
Join Flathead Audubon Society for a crafting workshop to raise awareness about bird conservation. Create a handsewn bird to represent birds lost to collisions with windows and buildings, a major threat to bird populations. For ages 16+.
