In celebration of Library Giving Day, Flathead Library Foundation with sponsor, Glacier Grins Pediatric Dentistry, will host a series of Flathead Story Concerts. At each event, local storytellers will share their true personal experience stories through spoken word - some to make you laugh, cry, or just think about life differently, and all to build community at your local library. All events are family friendly and free, with a suggested donation of $10 to Flathead Library Foundation to support the Library’s Summer Experience program.

The third speaker in our series, Melissa Kwasny, is the author of seven books of poetry and a collection of essays on the poetic image. She was Montana Poet Laureate from 2019-2021, a position she shared with M.L. Smoker, and has taught poetry writing in graduate and undergraduate programs and in the public schools for over thirty years.
