Each week you’ll try out both traditional and non-traditional techniques—think collage, inking, layering, metal leaf, and even hot glue. The Youth Services team at Flathead County Library plans and implements early literacy programs for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in Kalispell, Bigfork, and Columbia Falls. Our goal in every Storytime is to connect with young children and their caregivers through books, songs, and interactive activities that foster early literacy and social emotional skills. I love when other people make monthly book plan lists, so I'd thought I'd share mine too! Below are some of the April released books that I'm most excited about. My April To Be Read list looks a little different than usual, with more lighter books and more nonfiction than I typically go for.
